Much talk has been going on about the newest Apple innovation called the iPhone 5g. The iPhone 5g is expected to be like the iPhone 4 but with improved versions of several of its features like an 8 MP camera, a 1.2GHz processor and ultimately, the use of 4G LTE mobile communications technology. But with all these enhancements and advanced technology, how much will an iPhone 5g cost? Will it be priced as user-friendly as its features and specs? Or should we ready our sewing kits in preparation for a hole in our pockets? Let us take a look at how Apple has priced its iPhone products over the years.

The iPhone 2G, which was introduced way back in January 2007, cost around $499 for the 4GB and $599 for the 8GB. Remember that this was only the package price as it was exclusively made for AT&T. Later, Apple launched the iPhone 2G 16GB version also at $499.

In July 2008, the iPhone 2G’s successor, the iPhone 3G was released. Prices were suddenly surprisingly low at $199 for an 8 GB iPhone 3G (with contract) and $299 for a 16 GB iPhone 3G (also with contract). Given the quality and durability of Apple products, this pricing strategy is quite new and unexpected. The iPhone 3G upgraded version which is the iPhone 3GS (launched in June 2009), also carried the same pricing scheme at $199 for 16 GB and $299 for 32 GB.

When it comes to the latest and most modern iPhone sold in the market today (iPhone 4), prices with contract are still at $199 for the 16GB and $299 for the 32GB. However, if you prefer to go without contract, then you have to pay $499 for 16GB and $599 for 32 GB.

Following this trend by Apple and with the competition among mobile companies also intensifying, it can be assumed that new iPhones will take on the same pricing scheme as its older siblings. This means that later models will be sold at a reasonable price. Customers can expect to get more value from the iPhone 5g at a price that is not too expensive for the average socialite. The price of the much awaited iPhone 5g can probably be safely guessed at around $305 for entry level model (with contract) and $495 to $825 for a higher end model of the iPhone 5g.

The war between smart phones is really intensifying. With the release of one smart phone after another, any mobile or telecommunications company can no longer afford to become complacent; rather they must continue with their research and development programs, in order to come up with a smart phone that will top the rest of the smart phones available in the market. That is what Apple, the multinational consumer electronics giant, has been up to these past few years.

Within months after the release of iPhone 4 in the global market, there have been several reports and unverified stories spreading in the Internet that the latest in iPhone technology will be launched soon – the iPhone 5g.

Contrary to what is spreading around the rumor mill, the iPhone 5g is not the Verizon iPhone. According to Wall Street Journal, the Verizon iPhone will be introduced to the market in October of this year. It will be very similar with the iPhone 4 from AT&T except for the fact that it uses a different wireless technology. iPhone 5g will also take on a different model from the rest of its iPhone siblings so it really cannot be that the iPhone 5g and the Verizon iPhone are one and the same.

For those of you who wish to know more about this new Apple genius of a product, below are some of the rumored features of the new iPhone 5g.

•	iPhone 5g will adopt a new aerial configuration and a 1.2GHz processor. iPhone 4 only has a 1GHz processor.
•	iPhone 5g will have a bigger 3.7 inch screen compared with iPhone 4’s 3.5 inch screen. Its image quality will definitely be enhanced and can be able to get true-color 1080p with a dual-core GPU.
•	iPhone 5g will use nuclear design to extend battery life. iPhone 4
•	iPhone 5g will feature an 8 megapixel camera, which the iPhone 4 does not have.
•	iPhone 5g will provide a digital wallet using Near Field Communications (NFC) technology.
•	iPhone 5g will have USB 3.0 connectivity and Thunderbolt. It may also have an HDMI output capability.
•	iPhone 5g may support LTE (Long Term Evolution), the latest in mobile network technology.
•	iPhone 5g may provide 64GB of cloud storage.

It has been said (and many people are expecting) that the iPhone 5g will debut in late June or early July this year as with all the other iPhones. Others say it will be launched some time in October. Regardless of when it will be available in the market, one this is for sure, the iPhone 5g will definitely sell like hot cakes!

Are you a mobile phone addict and can’t wait for the latest news on the hottest mobile gadget in the market? Do you always want to be updated on the most recent information and happenings in the mobile communications arena? Or, are you simply an Apple or an iPhone fan who can’t get your hands off the computer searching for applications, news and updates on your favorite consumer electronics brand? Well, if you answer yes to any of these questions, then you probably must know about the iPhone 5g, Apple’s newest innovation in mobile communications technology.

The iPhone 5g is probably the most anticipated and much awaited mobile invention of 2011. It is dubbed as the most modern iPhone and Apple electronics product of the century that will rock the consumer market even more than the iPad or iPad2.

The iPhone 5g was rumored to be launched last January 2011 or within only 7 months since the release of the iPhone 4. There has been a lot of news and unverified reports claiming this release date, saying that iPhone 5 is Apple’s product offering to solve the issues on iPhone 4. Blogs and websites have also surfaced, devoted to detailing and scrutinizing several of the specs and features of this dream phone which may or may not really be there when the actual iPhone 5g is released. Reviews and iPhone comparisons have also sprung up like mushrooms from nowhere, hyping up the consumer market’s interest and curiosity over this new Apple genius.

January has passed and the next rumored release date for the iPhone 5g is some time between June or July 2011 similar to the release dates of its iPhone siblings. An article notes that despite Apple’s intentions to keep the consumers guessing as to when its products and services will be released, Apple still likes consistency, which makes it still pretty much predictable. Unfortunately, June and July 2011 is nearing but the iPhone 5g is still nowhere in sight.

So, iPhone 5g’s release date has been moved again from one date to another by people who may not even be from Apple and who perhaps are not even sure when the actual product launch of the iPhone 5g will be. Some reports say that iPhone 5g is scheduled to be launched in September 2011 or early 2012. It is believed to go into production beginning this July in order to reach the consumer markets in time for the Christmas season.

So, for all of you iPhone fanatics out there… I guess it is going to be a long wait. Just keep your eyes open for the next iPhone 5g release date update.

Are you an iPhone or Apple fan? Do you want to learn more about your favorite iPhone products? How and when were they created and developed? Read on and know the full story.

It all started in 2005 when Steve Jobs, Apple’s icon and CEO, ordered his communications engineers to study on touchscreens. You would probably think big already like tablets and the iPad but Jobs wanted to apply the touchscreen technology onto mobile phones first. Therefore, with an estimated development cost of USD150 million and in partnership with AT&T Mobility, Apple was able to create the first iPhone device over the project’s duration of thirty months.

On January 9, 2007, the first iPhone was unveiled by Steve Jobs to the American public at the Macworld Convention in San Francisco. Since then, hundreds of customers have gone crazy over the iPhone, to the extent of lining up outside stores all over the United States. Then, the iPhone was offered in the United Kingdom, France, and Germany by November. Ireland and Austria followed the trend in the spring of 2008.

Next came the release of the iPhone 3G on July 11, 2008. iPhone 3G featured a full plastic back to boost the strength of the GSM signal of the original iPhone. It was available in an 8GB black model and a black or white 16GB model and was released by Apple in twenty-two countries before it was discontinued to make way for the iPhone 3GS.

iPhone 3GS was introduced a year after the launch of the iPhone 3G on June 8, 2009 beginning with the United States, Canada and Europe. It had two available colors, black and white, but the white iPhone 3GS was phased out in favor of the more affordable black 8 GB model. A year after, on June 24, 2010, Apple launched another version of the iPhone called the iPhone 4.

The iPhone 4 is still the newest and most modern iPhone available in the market today. It is still maintaining its leadership in the global market and still making waves among many iPhone loyalists and non-iPhone users who intend to shift and would like to experience the iPhone 4 technology. The iPhone 4 is of course better equipped internally and externally compared with its older siblings.

Last March 2, 2011, during the iPad 2 event, Apple declared 100 million iPhone sales worldwide. Banking on solid volumes and the iPhone’s premium selling price, Apple has already ousted long-time leader Nokia as the largest mobile handset vendor in the world.
